My family loves omelets so when I have leftover ham I chop it into small pieces and freeze up baggies with a 1/2 cup or so chopped ham in each.I also add chopped green peppers and onions to the bag. Then when we want omelets I just grab out a couple bags while the coffee is brewing and in no time they are thawed and ready to use. Pre-measured and pre-chopped it makes morning omelets a breeze! Of course you could add other ingredients--like mushrooms or crumbled bacon. Enjoy!
